In the Wëttelsscheier you will discover the work of the winegrowers and the winegrowing economy in the 19th and early 20th centuries. From the cultivation of the vine, the process of wine making and all the way through to the cooper’s job, you will learn all about the cultivation methods at the time as well as the associated workmanship and the different jobs that were involved to them. The sometimes rather difficult living conditions will also explain the desire of some to leave their home in the 19th century.
