In the Possenhaus, the museum’s centrepiece, the visitor will be immersed in the daily life of the former inhabitants of the Moselle region in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The black kitchen, the parlour (known as the Stuff) and the various rooms were home to families where several generations lived together. Characteristic equipment and furniture are to be found in the house.
